Integrate of the Year Award – Organizational award for project that achieved the best Return on Investment during the Integrate phase.

ICRMP, www.icrmp.com - A member owned and governed property and casualty insurance program created exclusively for Idaho local governments.

ICRMP uses two primary applications internally, eDiary to manage client information and communications, and RiskMaster to process and manage claims.  ICRMP’s previous experience with the storage of content in a directory structure demonstrated the need to have a database driven document management system.  PaperVision Enterprise (PVE) was selected and ICRMP embarked on a project to integrate eDiary with PVE. By utilizing the PVE APIs, ICMRP’s integration facilitates the attachment of content to a client record seamlessly.  When accessing a client record in eDiary all of the attached documents are shown in the eDiary interface and available for retrieval.  After completing the Integrate step with eDiary and PVE, ICRMP is prepared to continue the work effort with RiskMaster and they are well on their way to the Accelerate phase in their content management lifecycle.

Accelerate of the Year Award – Organizational award for project that achieved the best Return on Investment during the Accelerate phase.

Idaho Department of Health & Welfare, www.healthandwelfare.idaho.gov - Offers programs that deal with complex social, economic and individual issues, ranging from Medicaid to Food Stamps, Child Protection to Disease Prevention. Last year, the department helped almost 340,000 people in the state, one out of every four Idahoans.

The Department of Health and Welfare was chosen at the Accelerate of the Year for their ability to lead the transformation and chang internally with great speed.  Throughout the State of Idaho, individuals that are eligible for benefits from the Department of Health and Welfare, may apply for benefits at one of the 27 locations throughout the state. During the course of the application process and their eventual receipt of the benefits the applicant may re-locate to another area or their circumstances may change. When the files were in their paper form the files had to be shipped between the locations causing delays and inconsistent communications and results, affecting customer service.

In 2007 a project was started to automate the collection and storage of the documents received from an applicant as well as their status. A custom application was developed by Imagetek, eCaseFile, and integrated with the ApplicationXtender system. Scanning now occurs in each office as the documents are received and the documents and the applicant’s status can be tracked in eCaseFile and on average more than 15,000 pages are scanned each day, saving substantial labor, while improving customer service.  Since going live in October 2008, the eCaseFile System has collected over 1.5 million pages and increased the efficiency of office staff.  Due to current economic conditions, the Division of Welfare has experienced significant case load growth.  Due to the realized efficiencies, workers have been able to keep up with the growing demand while continuing to improve timeliness and maintain high levels of accuracy.  The Department of Health and Welfare is now adapting the eCasefile application for other projects and is able to Accelerate their use of the system.
